But, that’s not all…
We are human
We will take the time to get to know you and your situation, so we can help get the best outcome for you. We relish the opportunity to build strong and lasting relationships with our customers and suppliers.
We are specialists
The team at GBP have an in-depth knowledge of the residual stock markets across the UK, Europe & ROW, putting our customers and suppliers in the strongest position from the very beginning to achieve the result they want.
We are transparent
We believe successful relationships are built on transparency and honesty. That’s why we promise to abide by all restrictions imposed on us for the transaction and to keep you up to date with the progress - we will never leave you in the dark.
We are straight talking
We will make sure to communicate in a timely and clear way, getting straight to the point.
We are strategic
Once we understand your goals and any restrictions, we will put together our proposal. The proposal will draw on our considerable expertise in the sector attained across many of the leading suppliers and approved retailers. We will outline the process going forward and the steps that will need to be taken for you to reach your goals.
We are global
When it comes to global partners it’s good to have friends with connections.
Making a difference in the sector
GBP’s approach to its customers and suppliers will never be a rigid model.
The residual stock market is continually evolving and so will we.
We will continue to adapt to changing market conditions and developing stakeholders’ requirements, to ensure we keep offering something which truly makes a difference to our suppliers and customers.
Going forward, our goal will remain the same and can be summarised as –
- Primarily focussing on residual / NPI / distressed stock
- Establishing a core range of products within incremental outlets
- Developing routes to market in Europe, the Middle East and the Rest of the World
- We do not pre-sell stock
- We only sell stock to a pre-approved customer base, working within the brand partners guidelines
- We are able to receive deliveries or collect consignments immediately from suppliers
- We encourage an open dialogue with our partners and will provide regular feedback on sales data and general market intelligence.
- We are financially strong and pay proforma for consignments in excess of £1m
Building a culture to be proud of
At GBP, our culture is what makes us different. We believe in:
Commitment – we pledge to grow and nurture the business. We are all accountable and take great pride in upholding the values of GBP.
Quality – we are continually seeking improvements to our processes and rigorously scrutinise the delivery of our services to ensure we really put quality standards first.
Trust – integrity and honesty are important in percolating a trust culture from top to bottom in GBP. We passionately believe there is a strong connection between a high-trust culture and business success.
Transparency – building open and honest relationships in our dealings with customers, suppliers and our supply chain partners.
Diversity – we are dedicated to creating an inclusive space for all our partners and extending this culture of inclusion into our work.
Together this is our culture – our collective DNA.

The GBP story
When we started GBP, we reflected on how other companies in the residual stock market operated and how their approach could be improved.
The answers were clear, and our ideas were simple.
We needed a platform that aligned the interests and needs of customers, suppliers, supply chain functions and our partners.
Since the start of the business, we have continued to improve, ensuring we are better tomorrow than we are today.

Nathan Jones
Founder and Managing Partner
It’s my job to lead us to success by shaping a collaboration between GBP colleagues based on a shared vision. I am striving to create the conditions for exceptional people to flourish. It’s a continuing challenge and our business is growing and will continue to grow because of the amazing team that we have.
I’m extremely proud of the people I work with, who do great things. What I do, and the sector I do it in, fascinates me. Leading GBP is a privilege.
Success for GBP is not a single moment in time, it’s a journey, an unfolding story. It is doing excellent work, with great people and achieving fantastic results. It’s a sense of satisfaction at building something brilliant so that people can achieve their potential.
Taking that leap, backing myself and starting GBP – that felt brave to me! It was a big, bold step. I’ve achieved many things in my professional life but seizing this opportunity by the horns and getting to where we are today leaves my other business achievements in the dust.
To me, bravery and achievements aren’t always about setting goals and going all out for them. I’ve always thought that one of my smartest moments was just listening to someone who saw potential in me. That person helped me unlock potential – something that’s stayed with me.
Hence that is what GBP is about – unlocking potential.

Andy Ellis
Principal partner
Started working in the FMCG industry in 2016
After a background in sport having achieved a silver medal in the 2014 commonwealth games and a highest world ranking of 9 in the world in badminton
I ventured out into the world after sport to see what positions and roles were available locally, I was very lucky to have found the people I did, as I could plug into the winning mentality of the office I found.
My transition from sport into an office environment was fairly seamless as I applied the same mindset I did in sport. With a willingness to learn. I started hunting out the 1% marginal gains out of every aspect of the business. I leave nothing on the table and I try my best everyday
As Principal Partner It is my job to manage/drive the sales team, making sure brand partners’ products are managed in the correct way and most importantly into the correct pre agreed channels, I view the GBP business as an extension of the brand and we understand that we have a duty of care to our brand partners and customers to always retain a level of responsibility and accountability.
I manage some of GBP’s key accounts, both UK and export, to offer them blue chip brands at competitive prices, My role is also to grow our customer base across UK/Europe/ Asia and the Rest of the World.
Meet the team

David
Financial Controller
I have worked in Finance Departments since 1986, in various industries, Construction, IT, Paper, Commercial Property Agents, Landscaping and now the FMCG market.
All of these industries when it comes to Finance have the same common goals, accurate and timely reporting, strong cashflow and excellent financial controls in place.
When joining GBP Limited as a Partner, I was able to use my wealth of knowledge from various industries but apply the same financial principles to ensure the company had a solid foundation to work with.
The business grows from strength to strength which is all down to the team and strong business ethic we all have.

Gaynor
Logistics Operations Controller
With over 25 years of experience working within the world of administration and logistics and 5 years within the FMCG industry, I have the experience to deal with the day to day running of the inbound logistics for Global Brand Partners and find the ever-changing world of logistics both a challenge and exciting. No day is the same which keeps me focused and constantly learning.
As Logistics Operations Controller and a Partner at GBP, we attribute our success to our key principles. Our principles ensure that the entire team always work with honesty, transparency and integrity.
Joel
National Account Manager
Whilst still comparatively new to the FMCG industry, I have over fifteen years of experience across multiple categories in wholesale key and national account management with a focus on brand positioning and category development.
Through an honest and collaborative relationship-first approach with customers – maintaining and sharing an extensive product knowledge too – I’ve helped in growing many businesses revenues significantly across that same period.
Joining Global Brand Partners at this exciting time represents a new challenge for me that will allow for maximising those experiences and attributes whilst continuing to learn and develop alongside the existing sales team and partners respectively; something I’m very motivated by.
